YPO are looking for Suppliers to be appointed onto a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of ‘The supply of Renewable Biomass and/or other related services – Ref 001080. The DPS is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations which includes YPO’s internal requirements and any of YPO’s wholly owned associated or subsidiary companies. Lot 1: Biomass Fuel Chips and/or related products and services. This DPS provides for the compliant procurement of biomass wood fuel chips and related products, to a particular size and specification, as specified by the customer during the call for competition. This DPS also provides for related services including (but not limited to): • Boiler maintenance and servicing for relevant product areas • Supply of heat (where suppliers/providers fund, own and operated the boiler and sell the heat to the client on per kWh basis) • Hopper/storage vessel housekeeping training • Wood cracking and wood chipping • Fuel level management. Lot 2: Biomass Fuel Pellets and/or related products and services. This DPS provides for the co compliant procurement of biomass wood fuel pellets and related products (such as biomass briquettes). Exact product and service specifications will be defined by the customer at a mini competition stage. This DPS also provides for related services including (but not limited to): • Boiler maintenance and servicing for relevant product areas • Supply of heat (where suppliers/providers fund, own and operated the boiler and sell the heat to the client on a per kWh basis) • Hopper/storage vessel housekeeping training • Fuel level management.
