Summary of the work To implement a number of recommendations from an internal audit in order to create an agile project methodology supported by software. To develop the strategic delivery plan. Expected Contract Length Work to be completed by end April '21 Latest start date Monday 25 January 2021 Why the Work is Being Done The Sussex CCGs requested that a systematic and systemic advisory review be undertaken of existing configuration of the Digital services in Sussex CCGs, with specific focus on the in-house team. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought challenges to digital services and operational ways of working, which has highlighted the need for this review. This review has concluded a number of recommendations which require immediate additional short term resource to implement. Problem to Be Solved Assessment and prioritisation of existing project portfolio. Identification and implementation of project methodology and associated project management tool. Implementation of RACI matrix. Confirmation of governance processes and creation of reporting to support. Mapping of CCG programmes and projects against Sussex Health and Care Partnership objectives, plans and strategy. Fully articulated delivery plan showing alignment of CCG and SHCP digital projects.Horizon plan showing integration of projects between CCG and SHCP strategic objectives. Governance plan to ensure continued close reporting and collaboration between CCG and SHCP teams Who Are the Users The users are the CCG Digital team. Slightly confused – the latest start date for the project is 25th January, however the closing date is February. Can we assume there is someone already in mind for this project. Was the internal audit/review conducted with the existing team or was an external 3rd party used? If external who were they, can they bid for this work and can we access their findings/report? Internal review was conducted by a 3rd party, they will not be in a postion to bid for this work. Much of the review has been included in the information made available on this platform. Full access to the report will be made available to the successful bidder. 8. Can you please specify the maximum budget assigned to this opportunity? Budget will be discussed with the bidder who we feel best fits our requirements. 9. With regard to ‘Has experience of creating strategic delivery plans’, can you provide some further insight? What delivery are you referring to? We are looking for expertise in translating business requirements into strategic delivery plans. 10. With regard to ‘Approach’, please can you confirm which approach you would like us to talk about? The approach you would take in order to meet the published requirements. 11. Is it possible to indicate budget range for this work? Budget will be discussed with the bidder who we feel best fits our requirements. 12. Given that the Stage 1 deadline is 2nd February, and that subsequently the shortlisted suppliers will need to go through the Stage 2 selection process, what would you consider to be a realistic start date for this piece of work? We will review the start date to align to the Digital Marketplace process. Start date will now be around 5th Feb however we reserve the right to keep this under constant review. 13. Can you clarify the deadline for submission and start date when you would like the project to start please. Submission deadline is 2nd Feb, start date will be around 5th Feb but this will be under review. 14. If a bidder was successful for this procurement would that disqualify them from bidding for the development stages or other parts of the programme? No.
