Description
This tender is for the business digitising and e-commerce support element of the programme, including cyber security, which will add value to existing provision across North and Mid Essex, enabling more capacity into the system and targeted support. The aim of this tender is to appoint a specialist organisation to deliver free business digital and e-commerce support across North and Mid Essex. Essex County Council is managing this procurement on behalf of the NEEB partnership and the five individual contracts will run parallel to one another, under the NEEB Business Support & Skills Programme, with each procurement contracted and managed accordingly. All bids must demonstrate their ability to deliver proportionately across the NEEB geography and must demonstrate the relevant knowledge, experience and skills required to deliver business digitising and e-commerce support. This fund is responding directly to the needs of the business community, and it is expected that the programme will be delivered by October 2022. Bids must demonstrate their ability to build capacity into the programme to continue to deliver business digitising and e-commerce support beyond October 2022 across the NEEB geography. It is expected that the digitising and e-commerce support programme will align with the other programmes of support under the Business Support & Skills Programme, covering the six local authority geographies of Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Tendring and Uttlesford. The primary purpose of the procurement opportunity is to deliver digital and e-commerce support that will create and safeguard jobs and support business growth and survival across North and Mid Essex. Digital transformation is key to the recovery of businesses, with the need to switch to online platforms as alternative or additional sales channels. Supporting businesses to safeguard themselves during and post the pandemic is central to the NEEB Business Support & Skills Programme. Business digitisation should allow businesses to innovate and be agile in order to safeguard against any future disruption caused by the pandemic and to enable businesses to maximise opportunities to ensure that they not only survive but thrive. This digital support element of the programme will be required to take its place in the Essex business support landscape and needs to be tailored to address current requirements and demand. Your tender submission must be submitted to the Authority electronically by publishing through this ITT CO0104 Business Digitising and E-Commerce Support https://www.proactisplaza.com:-
