Summary of the work QA Tester: The DWP are looking to engage with a supplier to provide an experienced tester to work within the existing DWP Team. Specialist role Data engineer Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Monday 11 October 2021 Maximum Day Rate up to £400 per day ex VAT Who Speclialist Work With The existing team is augmented with a mix of Civil Servants and other 3rd party supplier resource. What Specialists Work On QA Tester: The DWP are looking to engage with a supplier to provide an experienced tester to work within the existing DWP Team. The specialist will be a experienced UAT tester, able to deal with planning, scheduling, and coordinating tests with end users. Skills & Experience • have considerable experience of Test Analysis (DDaT) • Have considerable experience of QA Testing (DDaT) • Have considerable experience of testing Methods & Tools (DDaT) • ISTQB or equivelent experience • Demonstrable experience of working in a enterprise scale organisation • Experience planning and scheduling tests based discussion with stakeholders. • Good experience of undertaking knowledge transfer to existing teams. • Demonstrable experience of working in a large scale orgnisation. • Attend and participate in Agile ceremonies. Nice to Haves Experience of writing test approaches. Work Location The supplier will normally be required to work from DWP offices in the North West (Manchester office) but until COVID restrictions are lifted, the supplier will be required to work from home with occasion visits to the DWP office Working Arrangments Specialist will work 5 working days per work remotely until further notice. Security Clearance The supplier will be required to hold BPSS security clearance as a minimum.
