Description
** This is not a tender exercise by the Education Authority - This is to advertise a Market Information Session on 30th September 2021*** The EA is responsible for the delivery of the Education Technology Services (ETS) programme, part of DEs ‘Education Transformation Programme’ and will feed into the wider EA Transformation Strategy. The goal of the ETS programme is to ensure ongoing provision of high quality, sustainable, core education technology services to schools to meet the current and future needs of school leaders, teachers and pupils, EA and other key stakeholders (i.e. school governors, parents and DE). The ETS Programme will achieve this by: - Supporting school leaders in their school improvement journey; ensuring access to potential resources at their disposal. ETS will provide the tools to enhance the quality of educational experiences, well-being and outcomes for every learner across NI. - Facilitating collaboration of teachers with peers, professional networks and provide access to tailored Teach Professional Learning that supports pupil centric learning. - Ensuring effective implementation of the Northern Ireland curriculum which fully meets the learning needs of all children and young people. -Delivering a unified customer experience for parents, substitute teachers, schools, governors, EA etc. -Providing data analytics to facilitate a proactive risk-based approach to school improvement; informed by dashboards of contextual and performance information held for each school. Data, input once, will be collected and curated in a continuous cycle and be used for various decision making e.g. pupil centric learning, school planning, staff performance, future planning etc. -Enabling a higher order of thinking, understanding and learning across the system by playing a key role in implementing current policy and informing future policy development. Through the ETS Programme a number of key systems and services currently in situ under the EN(NI) contract will be replaced as well as the implementation of a number of new, innovative solutions. The ETS Programme would like to invite you to attend our next Market Information Session which is scheduled to take place on 30th September 2021 (via MS Teams) to provide more detail on our evolving requirements and timescales and most importantly to gain valuable insight and feedback from the market to help inform our programme prior to the commencement of the procurement phase. We will also be issuing a questionnaire and seeking written responses from the market. To attend please provide the names, business titles and email addresses of a maximum of 2 people from your organisation who would like to attend to ets.procurement@eani.org.uk Please also send any specific questions that you may have before the session to this email address and the ETS Programme Team will endeavour to answer these questions during the session (if appropriate). Timings for the session will be confirmed directly to attending organisations and will depend on the level of interest received.
