Description

This technology is being trialed in the DCMS funded Liverpool 5G Create Programme. Vitalerter is a sensor that goes under a care home bed that monitors the vital signs of the occupant. Using AI it learns the movement pattern of the resident prior to getting out of bed and can raise an alarm to the staff via an app to inform them the resident is getting up so they can ensure they are there if required to assist and reduce falls. The sensor detects movements so can inform the care delivery of people who may need turning to prevent pressure
