A Shared Vision for our Land and Sea

Supplier(s)
Description
The primary output of this tender will be a detailed bilingual report, including strategy and action plan for the Cambrian Mountains and Summit to Sea project area that will enable future planning and underpin relevant funding applications. This report will result from interviews undertaken with farmers, land managers and those working in the freshwater and marine environment. Outcomes of A shared vision for our land and sea should therefore include: • Understand the needs of farming and other land, water and nature-based businesses and communities in order to develop an action plan that will support policy makers, communities and businesses in adapting to current challenges and aid the development of better working structures across the Cambrian Mountains / S2S areas. • Local communities and the wider public have a meaningful input into the vision and objectives of S2S and CM initiatives - informing, shaping and learning about the potential for nature-promoting and nature-friendly activities which align with and promote local economic needs, cultural heritage and community and individual wellbeing. • Nature based enterprises are identified along with opportunities to network and further develop nature-based supply chains. • The potential for nature-friendly production systems; landscape-scale action; payment for ecosystem services and nature-based business to deliver both a sustainable economy and a nature-rich environment are better understood in a geographic location with a strong cultural heritage and valued landscape.
