Consultant Support for Carbon Profiling, Emissions Reduction Targets and Ongoing Advice

Contract for consultant services to determine Forestry Commission’s carbon profile, organisational boundary, emissions reduction targets and strategy development. Lot 1: Forestry Commission is in the process of implementing its energy and infrastructure programme to transition from fossil fuel derived energy to renewable energy. Over the last few years, we have recorded Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and now need to assess our Scope 3 impacts and establish our overall carbon footprint. Following on from the UK governments’ commitments from the Paris Agreement, which aims to keep global average temperature well below 1.5 degrees centigrade, Forestry Commission needs to establish what we need to do to contribute to the government's goals
