Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the Legal Advisory Services Framework agreement. NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) are consulting on a proposal to tender for the provision of Legal Advisory Services Framework to support NHS Organisations and the wider public sector. This is to help define and develop our national procurement strategy and help in the development of our service specification to meet the needs of NHS Organisations and wider Public Sectors. NHS Shared Business Services are engaging with potential providers prior to the release of any official tender documentation. NHS SBS is currently considering using the following Lots for this procurement; however, it reserves the right to change any aspect of the Lot structure. Lot 1 - NHS Governance & Public Law Lot 2 - Primary Care Services Lot 3 - Healthcare Law Lot 4 - Mental Health Law Lot 5 - Employment Law Lot 6 - Contract and Commercial Law Lot 7 - Property Law Lot 8 - Property Law The areas of law or types of activities which might typically arise (but not limited to) under this Lot are as follows:  Acquisitions and disposal of property  Landlord & Tenant related matters  Leases and licences to use land  Knowledge of LeasePlus and Underlease Plus Resolution Agreements  Rent Reimbursement Provisions and Directions  Premises Act rent & rates reimbursement schemes for GP Practices  Reports on Title  Site developments  Property aspects  LIFT Lot 43996: Lot 8 - Construction Law The areas of law or types of activities which might typically arise (but not limited to) under this Lot are as follows:  Construction Contracts (including standard form)  Construction (including defects liability, collateral warranties, bank and surety bonds, professional appointments and procurement)  PPPs (Public Private Partnerships)/ PFI projects including LIFT schemes.  Health & Safety (specifically relevant to the construction industry)  Infrastructure Projects Lot 43997: Lot 9 - IT, Telecommunications & E-Commerce The areas of law or types of activities which might typically arise (but not limited to) under this Lot are as follows:  E-commerce  Data protection  Confidentiality  PPPs  IT Contracts and Licences  Software Licences  IT/ Telecoms procurement  Convergent technologies and the internet  Competition Law (relevant to the IT/ Telecoms sectors)  General Data Protection Regulation Lot 43998: Lot 10 - Corporate Finance & PFI/PPP projects including LIFT The areas of law or types of activities which might typically arise (but not limited to) under this Lot are as follows:  Borrowing and investing  Project Finance  Establishing corporate vehicles  Public procurement law  Drafting and contributing to project documentation  Project planning  Drafting, negotiating and agreeing legal documentation  Banking and Finance  Advice and documentation on property issues  General legal advice and assistance Lot 43999: Lot 11 - Multi-Disciplinary Project Support Suppliers on this lot are required to provide all of the services outlined within lots 1-10. This includes but is not limited to:  Ongoing project support  Where input for a range of legal specialisms is required
