Published

Description

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) would like to invite suppliers to participate in a Soft Market Test exercise. We are looking to find a solution for managing international exchange students and agreements (International Mobility Management System), and the project looks to support the following business objectives: • Increase international mobility within NTU. The aspiration is for 10% of the student body to be taking part in international mobility. • Better support incoming international students administratively and pastorally, providing a consistent, supported experience. • Manage and build relationships with international partners to support an increased provision of opportunities for students to engage in international mobility. The new information system will need to support the following objectives: • Increased ease of applying for opportunities • Increase the ease developing and forming international partnerships • Increased administrative efficiency processing opportunities • Improved reporting NTU wish to engage in discussions prior to formulating our final procurement strategy and this process is the beginning of our market engagement exercise designed to help us assess the maturity and depth of the marketplace, and to understand if a solution can meet the fast evolving needs of our service. This process will better inform and scope any future decisions, and help interested organisations understand our requirements. We welcome responses from suppliers and companies who feel that they have positive ideas on how our vision can be delivered. Please email samantha.casey@ntu.ac.uk for documentation providing further details. If you feel that your organisation is able to contribute to this exercise please complete the relevant questions from the background document and return, via email to samantha.casey@ntu.ac.uk by 13.00 Wednesday 6th January. Following receipt of the questions, depending on the information we obtain from this exercise, we may invite a maximum of 5 respondents to attend separate open dialogue workshop sessions to present and discuss their responses between 25th January 2016 and 5th February 2016. A decision will then be made internally on the best procurement approach to take. Any supplier invited to present to NTU is doing so to support market research and to help make the process more focused and efficient and to identify the needs of sponsors.
