Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of six (6) Coastal Patrol Vessels (CPV), all CPVs are equipped and certified to Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) MGN 280 Workboat Code of Practice, (HSVC) Category 2, for operational service in waters up to 60 nautical miles from a safe-haven. The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements (C18366 - CPV Active - SoR - MSER - vf1). Following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation, this period of works will commence on the 15th June 2020 and should be completed by 26th June 2020. The Authority will use the following timeline for this contract only. It is as follows 1. Compliant bids submitted by Friday 29th May 2020, 1200hrs BST. 2. Evaluation of received complaint bids will take place between 29th May and 5th June 2020. 3. The Authority will award on conclusion of its evaluation of bids, but no later than the 5th June 2020. 4. This package of works is expected to run for ten (10) working days. This package is to be undertaken within the following geographic constraints; 1. Between the Firth of Clyde Area, Scotland and the Anglesey Area, Wales; and 2. Between Belfast Area, Northern Ireland and Dublin Area, Republic of Ireland; and 3. On the Isle of Man The Authority reserves the right to withdraw this requirement during any stage of this process. Bidders are required to submit their written quotations in both .pdf and .docx formats. The purpose of this notice is to make the SoR available to, and invite, potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully-itemised written quotation for the complete and specified work package. The quotation is to be submitted in currency, GBP. Any potential suppliers are invited to send an email to; Ian McDermott, Home Office Commercial at Ian.Mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk , confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing an itemised quotation. Furthermore, acknowledgment is also required, of; 1. the Authority reserves the right to withdraw this requirement during any stage of this process; and 2. agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions (C18366 - T&Cs - CPV Active - MSER) on which the contract will be awarded is required. Quotations should also be accompanied by a Cardinal Date Plan (CDP) as stated in the SoR, section 5.6. All required documentation should be submitted via email to Ian McDermott, at the address above, no later than: 1200hrs BST, Friday 29th May 2020.
