The creation of a platform will support and consolidate the day-to-day operation of two accelerators providing a strategic, engaging digital home to service the delivery of the programmes and give voice to all they have to offer and allow participants to navigate the programme content and resources seamlessly in one single location for each accelerator. In addition, a third network servicing Alumni will be be powered by a self-serving platform where companies can join, pay, network, and sign up to events and workshops with other like-minded founders and businesses. Budget for this comes from the Mayor's International Business Programme (MIBP), the Business Growth Programme (BGP) which are both funded by ERDF. There is also budget from the London Leaders Network Problem to Be Solved • To provide a central location to engage our alumni community members, aiding overall programme engagement & participation with events and take up of the service. • To reduce the fragmentation of resources across multiple locations, PDFs, and communication channels and the additional admin this creates across London & Partners • To provide a platform for Strategic Delivery Partners to gain visibility and connect with the alumni community, share thought leadership and facilitate office hours and meetings. • To build a strong peer to peer community for London’s entrepreneurial community, where they can foster connections directly through the platform without the intervention of L&P staff. • Keep members focused on what’s most important and relevant to them, and how they can engage • To improve user journey and increase client participation in events and activities Reduce staff time required for issuing hundreds of invoices for membership fees. Who Are the Users Internal: Operations & Programme teams from accelerators End users: Founders of high growth startups & Scaleups and their employees Existing Team N/A Current Phase Not started Skills & Experience • • Have worked with a non-for-profit organisation looking to build a community and can demonstrate the benefits and value this brings • • Must be able to start immediately and deliver by end of July • • Demonstrate you have worked with an organisation to identify gaps in delivering this solution which are then met for successful delivery • • Evidence you have worked to tight timescales and your offering does not require a large amount of bespoke configuration Work Location 161 Union Street, London, SE1 0LL as well as remotely Working Arrangments We expect that work will be split between our premises (when that is possible) and remote working. No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria • Technical Solution • Approach and Methodology • How the approach meets the organisation's goal • Team Structure • Estimated Timeframes Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as one project team • Work with clients with low technical expertise • Be flexible to changing requirements • Give examples of collaborative working Payment Approach Fixed price Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 10% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers 1. Please can you clarify is the ‘self-serving platform where companies can join, pay, network, and sign up to events and workshops with other like-minded founders and businesses’ is in scope of this project? This is the entire and only scope of this project. 2. What is the preferred technology for this platform? Please share detailed scope of work. No prefered technology. Needs to be SaaS based with UK data centres and can support the integrations 3. Is the stated budget of 40K-55K for the full duration of the year long contract please? Yes 4. Please can you advise on the earliest start date for this project? The date detailed states 31st July, however within the skills and experience criteria you require suppliers to deliver by end of July. We need to be live on the platform by 12th August 5. Please can you provide further guidance on what type of example you are looking for from suppliers to answer the following skills and experience criteria:Demonstrate you have worked with an organisation to identify gaps in delivering this solution which are then met for successful delivery We recognise that we don't know what we don't know. The supplier should be able to demonstrate how they have worked with customers to get the best possible outcome recognising not all the answers are there 6. With the timescales indicated it would suggest that you are looking for an off the shelf solution that could be configured. Is this the case or would a bespoke solution be considered. Our thinking that you are looking for an off the shelf solution is guided by the delivery date of the end of July. Or is this flexible? We need to be live on the platform by 12th August 7. Is the £40k-55k the budget for the full one-year term contract? Yes
