The provision of a Data Storage Solution that is either software defined or an appliance based file system, which is cost effective, scalable, resilient, and secure, that protects data and has high availability. This service provision forms part of the University's initial investment to provide an enterprise grade platform to store Research Data within Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE). The strategic aim is that over time the platform will develop, expand and be deployed into multiple areas of the institution
