The vegetation control work in and along the watercourses, is carried out in autumn and winter. The work will involve cutting the aquatic weed growth and the growth on the slopes of the channels. Localised de-silting of the channel bed may be required for certain watercourses at the specific request from NRW; this will be infrequent and make up a very small part of the work.
