APHA require the supply, delivery and installation of one (1) Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Robot on or before, 31st March 2021. The extraction platform supports the application of a polymerase chain reaction assay for the detection and control of bovine TB within Great Britain. The aim of this assay is to reduce the current culture diagnostic period from six (6) to twenty two (22) weeks down to less than 5 days.
