To provide a submetering and Automatic Monitoring and Targeting (aM&T) solution for RBGE

Published

Description

The project is to provide a submetering solution for our main electricity meter at our Edinburgh garden which can monitor 16 three-phase circuits feeding off the main supply. The solution should also include client access to an aM&T portal, as well as ongoing energy management support services in efforts to identify areas where energy is being wasted or efficiency can be improved. The submetering unit(s) and should be in place and operational by the 31st March 2022. The submetering solution should be able to monitor a minimum of 16 three-phase circuits feeding off the main electricity supply, with potential to add further monitoring units in future. The submetering units should be non-invasive and the sensors should be able to accurately capture energy consumption at a circuit level. The solution should also include client access to an cloud based aM&T portal that can capture and display: energy consumption (kWh) carbon emissions (tCO¬2¬e / kgCO2e) cost of energy (GBP) Power factor/apparent power (kVA) The portal should have the capacity to create or build virtual meters from the installed submetering sensors, and be able to visually compare consumption between various time periods and between different meters and/or submeters. Access to the cloud based portal should be possible via any current internet browsers which is less than 2 years old. User profiles should allow for high-consumption alarms to be set up to ensure a quick response to any unexpected energy consumption, and data and graphs should be exportable to a neutral standard i.e. plan text or csv spreadsheet format. All data stored in the portal should be extractable out of the portal by an RBGE user at any point as required. The supplier should also be able to offer ongoing energy management support services in efforts to identify areas where energy is being wasted or where efficiency can be improved. This should be in the form of regular reports and/or meetings. Any additional energy management services included as part of the overall project will be brought into consideration. The submetering unit(s) and associated M&T package should be in place and operational by the 31st March 2022, and licensing for the M&T package should cover a period of three years.
