The DPS will remain open for 7 + 3 years. The low friction bed sheet for a single bed to have both the following options: Material that if used by the client lying directly on top of this layer it will facilitate movement in bed, but it has the option of an additional layer on the top for when care givers need to assist movement. Elastic corners to enable its use on a pressure mattress — the fitted version is not suitable for a pressure mattress. As a fitted sheet version to enable it to be used without the additional layer on top to facilitate self-transfers of a client in and around the bed. The elastic corners version will not be suitable for this. Sheet material has low friction properties when presented to any generic slide sheet placed on top of it. System comprising a single bed sheet topped with a slide sheet intended for being left in-situ by being secured under the bed occupant, for it to become a readily available part of the patient moving system on a single bed.
