Description
The requirements have been split into 2 lots / contracts. The contracts for both lots will be for an initial period of 7 years with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years based on 12 month incremental extensions. Lot 1: Outsourced Commodity IT Services for Enterprise Infrastructure, End User Computing and Service Desk. Lot 2: Outsourced Commodity IT Services for Enterprise Networks and Security. This requirement will cover the following services: 1) Complete Service Desk provision for the entire organisation (level 1, 2 and 3); 2) Enterprise Infrastructure to include (but not limited to): — Data Centre Provision, — Server / Storage / Backup / Archive Delivery and Support, — Electronic Patient Record Application Hosting, Maintenance and Management (Epic), — Interface Engine Hosting, Maintenance and Management, — Medical Device Integration Hosting, Maintenance and Management, — Clinical Information Systems Hosting, Maintenance and Management, and — Enterprise Content Management; 3) End User Computing to include (but not limited to): — Desktop / Laptop engineering / support, — Application Delivery and Application Support, — Virtual Desktops, — Applications Store, — Active Directory, — File Shares, and — Single Sign On. The Service Provider will be responsible for the supply, installation, configuration, optimisation, management and maintenance of a range of technologies, products and services which collectively form the Authority's Enterprise Network and Security provision. This will include in its scope: — Wide Area Network (WAN), — Local Area Network (LAN), — Wireless Network (Wi-Fi), — Perimeter Networks and Security, — Secure Remote Access, and — Enterprise Mobility Management.
