Description
East Suffolk Council have been awarded funding through the Welcome Back Fund to support the safe return to high streets and help build back better from the pandemic. This funding builds on the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund announced in May 2020 and forms part of the wider support government is providing to communities and businesses. As part of a wider programme of building back better projects that East Suffolk Council will be running between July 2021 and March 2022, we are seeking to appoint an e-commerce provider to establish a virtual high street platform primarily for independent businesses in the 12 main towns in the district. The platform will seek to offer the consumer a one-stop shop window of businesses offering on-line products and services from across the district. It will enable them to purchase from a number of businesses and receive a prompt coordinated home delivery or click and collect option.
