Description
One to one (1:1) support, day opportunities and activities are important parts of our local offer for people with disabilities. Establishing a framework agreement from which to purchase these services is an opportunity to increase the range of services available for people to choose from and to drive innovation, value for money and an increased focus on outcomes. This framework agreement is intended to develop a wider range of local services. Expected outcomes of the support could include, but are not limited to: — improved physical health and well-being, — improved emotional health and well-being, — improved access to the community, — increased independence of the person in particular areas of their life, — increased participation in activities of the person’s choice, — involvement in education, employment, training and/or voluntary work, — increased ability to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.
