Each year BSO requires significant support with the implementation, management and ongoing development of a range of Microsoft Technologies which include: — Microsoft Windows Server, — Microsoft SharePoint Server, — Microsoft Hyper-V, — Microsoft Active Directory, — Microsoft Internet Information Services, — Microsoft Visual Studio, — Microsoft Analysis Services, — Microsoft Power BU Report Server, — Microsoft SQL Server, — Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, — Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, — Microsoft Visual Studio, — Microsoft Domain Name Service, — Microsoft Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, — Microsoft Active Certificate Services, — Microsoft Dynamics CRM, — Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager. The complexity of the BSO environment and its dependency on a large number of Microsoft technologies and products means a support contract of this nature, aligned to the software producer can only be agreed with the software provider directly i.e. Microsoft Premier Support. Each year BSO requires significant support with the implementation, management and ongoing development of a range of Microsoft Technologies. These technologies provide core infrastructure applications and also underpin all BSO hosted IT applications used by HSC. This support is only available directly from Microsoft who is best placed to provide the required support across the wide range of Microsoft products. Other vendors may be able to provide options to assist BSO in supporting some of these Microsoft Technologies but would not cover them all. Any such option from another vendor would have to be underpinned by Microsoft. The Premier Support Services are only available directly from Microsoft. The Microsoft Premier team is directly aligned with Microsoft Product and Support teams and also other Microsoft functions such as consultancy. This ensures the best possible support for our environment. The complexity of the BSO environment and its dependency on a large number of Microsoft technologies and products means a support contract of this nature, aligned to the software producer can only be agreed with the software provider directly i.e. Microsoft Premier Support. BSO require an annual contract directly with Microsoft to provide require Premier Support including both proactive on site engineers and reactive telephone support available 24 x 7.
