Summary of the work Welsh Ambulance Service Trust are seeking to establish additional resources within their development team to allow enhancements to the NHS 111 Wales website. What Specialists Work On WAST are seeking to establish additional resources within their development team to allow enhancements to the NHS 111 Wales website. These include - • Providing a refreshed home page design • Developing a module to the existing symptom checker section that links ED and 111 outcomes to their respective services, supporting demand management and sharing of information • Development of a wider API library to allow WAST to offer syndicated content to our stakeholders. Skills & Experience • 2 Full Stack .NET Developers • • Availability and length of placement – Jan 2021 to a period no later than 31st March 2021. • Location: Remote using own equipment • Significant experience as a full stack .NET developer • C#.NET, ASP.NET 2.0-4.5 • MVC • REST/WebAPI • .NET Core • HTML, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to SQL 2014 – Tables, Views, Stored Procedures and Functions • IIS Administration • Understanding of using GitHub for source code. Work Location Work remotely. Working Arrangments • Ability to work on their own, within a defined set of technology parameters • Contribute to team cell calls, updating the group on project progress • Communication with customers, both technical and non-technical to build customer requirements • Required to document project releases and provide weekly highlight reports on progress. As the request is for two specialists, but each Specialist opportunity on the DOS framework is only for one single specialist, does this mean that the two specialists must come from two different suppliers? We would like the two specialists to come from the one supplier please. 2. How would you suggest that we provide evidence for two separate specialists as there’s only space to provide evidence for one? If possible, please provide evidence for two specialists on the one attachment. 3. Can i clarify that this is a 6 week contract? This contract will be until the 31st March 2021. 4. Is the maximum rate of £900 per developer or for both developers combined? Between £300 - £400 each role per day. 5. Do you have any indicative budget/estimated cost for this work? Overall budget approximately between £30,000 - £35,000 6. Is this contract inside or outside of IR35 please? I believe this will be inside IR35 7. Can you confirm if there is an incumbent currently delivering this service? No – these will be additional resources to support some new features that need to be developed. 8. Can the work be shared between 2 suppliers, as it requires 2 specialists? We are looking for 2 WTE’s. A Full Stack developer should have all the necessary skills, so I don’t see a need to split the roles. 9. Can the resources be located anywhere or they need to be in the UK? We will want them working UK business hours. So, yes we want them uk based.
