Description

The Contract is for the provision of an Architectural led multi-disciplined team (ICT) to carry out option appraisals including all aspects of the RIBA 2020 plan of work. The commission will have various “break points” as detailed in ITT documents. The commission is for the appointment of a Consultancy team to prepare, develop and project manage the delivery of the Councils plans for schemes listed below and fully detailed in Table 1. • Civic Offices – Circular Road, Dungannon • Civic Offices – Burn Road, Cookstown • Council Offices – Killymeal Road, Dungannon • Moydamlaght Forest – extension of Forest Trails ICT team are to work through all RIBA Stages 0-7, working alongside with Mid Ulster District Council (MUDC) staff to prepare all design and legislative requirements and agree procurement route for IST appointment(s) and project management for the delivery of the Councils Capital projects listed above. A list of projects has been provided below in Table 1, along with location. Site maps and location schemes have been attached separately. The professional services to be provided must include the services of a Project Manager/Architectural consultant Landscape Architect Civil Engineer Structure Engineer Mechanical Engineer Electrical Engineer Quantity Surveyor, Principal Designer Environmental Consultant The projects will be delivered in different locations and will vary from project to project pending scheme overview brief. The appointed Economic Operator will be required to assist MUDC in all consultations with local stakeholders and to obtain all necessary approvals and consents with statutory agencies, including Planning, Building Control, DFI Roads, and utilities, BT, NIW, NIE, etc. Mid Ulster District Council requires an Economic Operator to deliver their services on a phased basis for each Theme proposed with break points to secure the necessary approvals. Subject to receiving the necessary approvals it is envisaged the construction phase for each Theme is estimated to take 3-4 months approximately. The overall IST project contract value(s) is estimated to be as detailed in Table 1 (this excludes professional fees as estimated above, statutory costs, optimism bias etc) ICT to note that this amount is only considered as pre-cost estimates and should not be used as calculation for ICT fees Table 1 below indicates the locations and brief description of the works required. IST Projects maybe released as individual projects or as 1 complete project pending funding constraints (TBC)
