Hampshire County Council has commissioned a new Independent Fostering Agencies (IFA) Framework to source external foster placements for Children and Young People in Hampshire. The IFA framework will commence on 1st April 2022 and will be for an initial two year period with options to extend for a further two years. Therefore the maximum potential duration of the framework is four years. The framework consists of four separate lots: Lot 1 - Standard Foster Placements including Respite Lot 2 - Parent & Child Foster Placements Lot 3 - Complex/Challenging Behaviour Foster Placements Lot 4 - Disabilities/Complex Healthcare Need Foster Placements Lot 1: Standard Foster Placements including Respite Lot 1 - Is for standard foster placements for children and young people which includes respite placements. Lot 2: Parent & Child Foster Placements Lot 2 - This lot is for Parent & Child foster placements. Lot 3: Complex/Challenging Behaviours Lot 3 - For children and young people presenting with complex and/or challenging behaviours and therefore may require a higher level of support. Lot 4: Disabilities/Complex Healthcare Needs Lot 4 - Children and young people who have either a disability or complex health needs and require either more support within their placement or carers with advanced training in order to be able to safely meet the needs of these children.
